Feeling listless? Here's a cure.

To have your contest web page listed here on this site, send your check or money order for the non-refundable listing fee to the address below.  The fee is a mere $10.00 per month for the duration of your contest, paid in advance.

For example, if your contest deadline is 12 months away, the fee is $120; if it is 8 months away, $80; and so on. The minimum fee to have a listing created is $60 (even for you last-minute listers!).  If you plan to conduct an essay contest within less than a six month time frame, you probably need to rethink the idea of conducting your contest.  NO commercial essay contest has ever been successfully conducted within less than a 6-month time frame, and that includes contests that aren't even charging an entry fee!  Unless you plan to spend $10 million dollars for TV advertising, and you've already booked a promotional interview on the Oprah Winfrey Show, you will never be able to have your contest information seen by enough eyeballs of potential entrants to garner the thousands of entries that you desire.  Even 6 months is cutting it close to utilize magazine articles as a promotional medium (the lead time from convincing a magazine editor to have an article written about your contest to final publication and distribution runs 4-6 months!).

If those facts haven't scared you off, and you're willing to work your proverbial butt off promoting your contest, then give your contest a kick-start by reaching folks who specifically visit this website to find contests whose prizes will tantilize them into exercising their creative talents.

Send your entry fee to:

Be sure to include the http address of your contest web site to which I can hyperlink!

If you would like to pay your listing fee with a Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express card, you can do so by clicking on the link bar below.   It will take you to the PayPal.com secure web site.  Click on the "sign-up" option, fill out the registration form and then send your listing fee to:
markirregardless.net.   There is no cost to you to use the PayPal service for personal use (up to $100 in received transactions per month).  You can use that same account to securely make purchases on the net.  Right now, it's the number one virtual merchant account used by sellers and bidders on the eBay auction site!

You may also opt to become a premium PayPal account-holder, which will allow you to accept credit card payments for your contest entry fees.  PayPal does charge a 1-2% transaction fee for Premium users, but unlike most credit card merchant accounts, there is NO monthly fee, NO equipment fee, and you don't have to prove that you are a business.

* I do not have the time or mechanism set up to track monthly renewals for contest listings, so I don't accept monthly payments.    Payments received for lesser amounts than the full duration of your contest will just be returned to you.  Should you decide to extend your contest past its original deadline, an additional listing fee can be made at that time.
