YOUR CONTEST WEB PAGE - GIVING YOURSELF MORE EXPOSURE

Planning to run an essay contest? Well then, you're going to want to establish a contest web page on the Internet. The web page serves the dual purpose of providing more information (rules, photos, etc.) to those folks already interested in participating, as well as attracting new possible entrants.

To have a web page, you'll need someone to take the content that you provide and convert it to "HTML", the language that web browsers understand. Unless you design the page yourself, you'll usually pay a one-time fee for the design services (based on the number of hours of work it takes), and possibly additional charges for changes as the contest progresses. In addition, you'll need an email address where potential contestants can send you their questions. And you'll also need to have an Internet Service Provider (ISP) to set you up with a space on their web server that will house your web page and its associated photos and images (for a monthly fee).

Virtually Yours can provide all that for you for a single fee for the duration of your contest. This includes:
  • Web page design from content that you provide
  • A reasonable number of web page changes during the run of your contest
  • Scanning of your photographs into useable web page images
  • Referencing of your site from this essay contest site at no additional cost
  • Handling of email inquiries about your contest (although it's best if contestants can contact you directly via your own email address).
What does all this cost? Well, it can vary a bit based on your contest specifics (type of prize, number of photographic images you want displayed, etc.), but I generally charge $375 unless you have special requirements that would take me an above-average amount of time to design.

Here are a variety of web sites that we have designed for different topics:

Interested? Then send me a note via email below, telling me a little bit about your contest and how you plan to market it. If you don't have email access, you need to get one immediately, but in the meantime, you can send your information to:
